Shaken coffee is an excellent idea for drinking coffee even when it’s crazy hot, like these days in August. Here in Italy, in summer, we prepare coffee with moka, sweeten to taste and let it rest in the fridge until it is cold at the right point.
Otherwise, if you want to have a nice cold coffee in 2 minutes, use the cocktail shaker. Fill it with sugar and ice, then add the freshly brewed moka coffee, and shake well until you feel through the glass that the liquid has cooled.
Pour the coffee into a nice glass: you will see that ice and coffee have formed a delicious and nice amber foam. Drink immediately.

I don’t like sweetened coffee, so I use raw sugar crystals that add sweetness with a delicate caramelized taste

If you are spending your vacation in Italy, in the summer, go to a “Bar” and ask for a cold coffee: the barista will take from the fridge the classic (huge) bottle full of coffee prepared early in the morning, and will pour to you a big quantity of coffee into the tall and narrow glass usually used to drink “amaro” or “grappa” at the end of the meal
